A FEW WORDS ABOUT ME AND MY TECHNIQE

I was born in 1960. I live with my family in a small community named Nimrod, which located in the northern part of the Golan Heights. The vast stretching views and breathtaking landscape is a source for my inspiration and the subject of my paintings in recent years: Landscapes of the Golan Heights, cows grazing, local nature reserves: Bunnias, Tel Dan, Nimrod Fortress, Odem, etc.
I use a technique by which I actually paint the background and the subject concurrently, starting in a particular point in the painting and spreading to the sides.
In my paintings I employ a method that I call "Intuitive coordination". This method enables me to disconnect from conventional thinking which divides the painting space to background and subject, and allows me relate to the painting space as a collective of subjects. Mixing and placing of the paint on the canvas is carried out in an intuitive manner. The colors are organized on the pallet in a specific order; this way when I dip my painting brush in the desired group of color for a certain strike, I can totally skip the need to glimpse at the pallet. The color being placed on the canvas is often a combination of clean tones that by their proximity to each other result in their transitional tones.
